I think it’s about time that I get back to this blog – the most basic thing being Music Monday (although I’m making an exception this week, making a Music Midweek (also inspired by the German word for Wednesday: Mittwoch) – just to get the Christmas music out of the way in time). More on getting back to the blog in the next post.
In the spirit of hoping to get more into the groove with this blog (and my blogs in general), I have picked Jamie Cullum’s “Don’t Stop the Music” – hoping that “the music” won’t stop soon.
It’s Epiphany on Friday, so in the spirit of this (and the fact that the movement on my Top 25 has been holiday music moving its way up) I have chosen this week’s Top 5 to be of holiday tracks.
For some reason, the publisher of one of my Christmas albums decided that one track was not the track it was, and I wasn’t able to find the “original” (as it is on my playlist) – but I have found other versions I find equally fabulous. You can read more on “Gaudete” on Wikipedia. Enjoy!
