Yes, “the traveler” would be yours truly; Freya. You can read more about me under “About” in the menu above this.

Although I am doing my own research, earn my own money, make my own bookings, and wouldn’t go anywhere without knowning that I have the funds, I would love to get inputs; especially when it comes to networking, extra eyes when looking for specific things, and be all-knowing, I can’t do it all on my own. And who knows, maybe you are or have just what I’m looking for? See what I’m looking for below.

What you can do to help me out is to follow, comment, share, introduce, criticize constructively, so on, so forth. If you know someone or someplace I can’t make it without knowing, do tell. If you happen to have tips’n’tricks or something I’m looking for left over (or know someone who has, or see it in an add, etc.), something I can have or buy for cheap-cheap, it would be great too. Et cetera.

If you have an idea for a blog post (eg. a theater in your area, a performing arts project you are doing, etc.) feel free to pitch it. If you have something of relevance you want me to share, do send it over.

I’m travelling for:
Shakespeare and other Elizabethan theater, musicals, comedy, concerts, street theater, festivals, conventions, workshops, generally genius theatrical experiences.

My primary needs are:
Transportation, accomodation, nutrition, adaptors for countries not supporting continental European plugs, entrance to shows, buildings, and exhebitions, notebooks and pens for noting/documenting on the road, relevant litterature and other sources of preparation, connections inside theaters and relevant organisations, other professional and/or relevant connections, inspirations, suggestions, feedback, etc.

My secondary needs (read: wishlist items) are:
A gorgeous digital mirror reflex camera, perhaps also a ditto video camera, to document my trips. Update, June 2015: A gorgeous digital mirror reflex camera is now in sight! Yeah!
Relevant souvenirs bought on site – such as litterature, recordings, puppets, paper theaters, etc.
